Exquisite and authentic Saturn table lamp by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs.
USA 1980.
Iconic and featured in numerous films (The Jackal, American Made, Derailed\.).
Black textured metal frame.
The reflector is encircled by perforated black metal, allowing a soft beam of light to pass through while permitting heat dissipation from the bulb.
The entire lamp is surrounded by a thick glass ring. (Saturn)
The small glass plate beneath the reflector is still present.
Given dimensions:
Height 45 cm.
Diameter 40 cm.
This is the large, authentic model.
Several inspired models exist.
Most are smaller, have a different base, and are often made of a glossy, non-textured black.
