Clean lines, clear contrast, and a form that seems to float in front of the wall. As soon as the light is switched on, their character changes completely, creating a warm, soft glow. Designer Rolf Krüger managed to create a strikingly powerful design with just a few elements: a gold-colored cylinder, opal glass, and light. That is really all that is needed. The lamps were produced by Paul Neuhaus Leuchten in Germany and belong to model 1723/25. The design consists of a cylindrical housing mounted at a subtle distance from the wall. This creates a subtle play of shadows, making the fixture appear to detach even more from the wall. Original opal glass tubes slide into the fixture at both the top and bottom. The frosted glass diffuses the light evenly and creates a warm atmosphere without harsh glare. The glossy gold-colored housing then catches the light, creating a beautiful interplay between reflection and diffused light. It is precisely this combination that makes these wall lamps special. During the day, they are sleek geometric objects. In the evening, they transform into atmospheric light objects that give a room warmth and depth. Both lamps have been carefully cleaned in our workshop. The metal has been polished, the mechanism checked, and the original opal glass shades inspected.
