The table has been originally cleaned, sanded, and re-oiled. No staining has been applied, leaving the original, natural wood color, ready for reuse.
The table was made in the 1900s from solid, thick beech wood, including the base and frame. Additionally, there's a trough floor beneath the tabletop, a drawer made of pine boards, and a pine board in the tabletop and backrest recess. The floor and drawer sides are also finished.
Everything is functional and practical! Both spindles are also functional and can be used for practical purposes. One spindle, or rather the guide, is slightly bent. This is visible in the photo. This workbench was crafted with meticulous attention to detail approximately 120 years ago. See detailed photos. This workbench is a perfect, durable piece of furniture that can also serve as a beautiful dining table, office table, TV stand, etc. The tabletop can be easily separated from the base by lifting it, making it easy to transport to the living room.
The green cover on the spindle can be easily removed.
