Sideboard designed by alain richard, produced by caminelle, france, 1960s. Deep, nuanced teak veneer on a remarkably refined, architecturally elegant black lacquered metal base—a striking contrast of materials characteristic of french modernism. Drawers and sliding doors with metal handles and original brass hinges. Interior bar compartment.
extensive restoration carried out in a workshop: marquetry grafts by a cabinetmaker, traditional french polishing. Authentic patina retained—minor signs of age preserved. A sound, stable, and fully functional piece.
