Its long, flexible, ringed body in black PVC bends and can be positioned freely in any direction, culminating in an adjustable spherical head in glossy black lacquered metal. Without a fixed base, it can be placed, coiled, and displayed like a living sculpture. This large 1.50 m version offers far greater freedom of display than the standard version, allowing for expansive and spectacular compositions. Each position is different; each use becomes a new form.

Valenti is one of the most important Italian lighting companies of the 1970s, whose collaborations with international designers such as Isao Hosoe, Studio Tetrarch, and De Pas, D’Urbino, and Lomazzi have been awarded the Compasso d’Oro several times. The Hebi lamp is now among the most sought-after Valenti pieces on platforms like 1stDibs and Pamono. The large black version is the rarer of the two sizes.
