1211 Times I Love You continues the series of long squares created by Tehos since 2008, in which motifs and texts accumulate within a precise geometric structure. The work is based on the handwritten repetition of the phrase “I love you,” inscribed 1211 times. This patient gesture transforms language into texture, the message into surface, and turns writing into an act of endurance, concentration, and presence.
