Originally used in a dry goods or general store to display and organize sewing braid and notions, this highly collectible cabinet is as functional today as it is historically significant.

Crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak, the cabinet features four smoothly operating drawers, each bearing its original gilt lettering reading "Goff's," "Best," "Made," and "Braid." All four original brass drawer pulls remain intact, adding to its authenticity and appeal.

One of the standout features is the beautiful original advertising decal on the back, a detail often lost over the years and highly prized by collectors.

The cabinet is in very good antique condition, displaying the warm patina and honest wear expected of a well-preserved piece that is more than 120 years old.
