The dramatic broken bonnet pediment with dentil molding and a central lunette arch is flanked by reeded pilaster columns with carved capitals. The four doors — two upper, two lower — are covered in deeply carved acanthus scroll and volute panels in high relief, the kind of carving detail rarely seen on American production furniture of any era. Ornate cast metal elongated escutcheon hardware completes the look. Dark walnut-stained hardwood throughout. The upper section offers open shelving behind the doors; the lower section contains four large drawers. See less
