The cabinet is built on a solid hardwood frame with dark walnut staining throughout. The upper section features a dramatic broken bonnet pediment with hand-carved dentil molding and a central lunette arch, flanked by reeded pilaster columns with carved capitals. The four doors (two upper, two lower) are faced with high-relief Baroque scrollwork and acanthus volute panels cast in a composition or resin material and applied to the wood frame. The hardware is ornate cast metal with elongated escutcheon pulls. The upper section provides open shelving; the lower section contains two large drawers. See less
