Tea Tree Surfboard Art – Original Hand-Painted Repurposed Surfboard
This one-of-a-kind surfboard began its life in the ocean before being lovingly restored and transformed into a vibrant piece of artwork. Measuring just under 5 feet tall, 18 inches wide, and approximately 2 inches thick, this repurposed board celebrates the beauty of renewal—taking something weathered by time and giving it a fresh new purpose.
Inspired by my love of lush foliage and the way plants bring life into a space, I chose to paint this piece with a realistic, organic style rather than a highly stylized or abstract approach. My goal was to create artwork that feels at home in an interior setting—a statement piece that delivers the beauty of greenery and bright pops of color without requiring a single drop of water or sunlight.
The tea tree leaves flow naturally across the board, creating movement and energy while maintaining an elegant, calming presence. Whether displayed in an entryway, living room, office, patio, or coastal retreat, this piece brings warmth, color, and a touch of nature indoors.
Each surfboard I create is an exercise in transformation. This board, once worn and weathered, has been cleaned, repaired, prepped, primed, hand-painted, and sealed with a UV-protective finish to preserve the artwork for years to come.

Each board is carefully selected, thoroughly cleaned, sanded, repaired as needed, professionally prepped, primed, hand-painted, and sealed with a UV-protective clear coat to help preserve the artwork and colors. Because this is a repurposed surfboard, minor signs of its previous life—such as pressure dents, small imperfections, or subtle wear—may still be visible. These characteristics are part of the board's history and add to the uniqueness and authenticity of the finished piece. This surfboard is intended for indoor or covered outdoor display as artwork and is not designed for use in the water after being painted and sealed. less
