Delicate goldscheider art déco ceramic figurine of the late 1930s: gracefully posing dancer in a dark red costume: dotted bustier … Read more Delicate goldscheider art déco ceramic figurine of the late 1930s: gracefully posing dancer in a dark red costume: dotted bustier and short skirt at the front with long, wide side panels slit at the back with large floral decorations in white, pink and black, holding them up backwards like a butterfly with her arms outstretched and her upper body turned to the right. On a black, slightly domed oval base. Designed by stephan dakon (1904 - 1992), was one of the most important designers who worked for the goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties. This model 7996 was created circa 1935.
