Crafted from mahogany and satinwood, it features elaborate floral marquetry on the tabletop, gilt-bronze ormolu trim, and hand-carved fluted legs joined by a decorative X-stretcher with a rosette medallion center.
The tabletop showcases intricate inlaid floral and scrollwork motifs framed by delicate geometric borders. When opened, the top reveals a leather-lined interior surface, originally designed for cards, chess, or backgammon. Inside there is room for storage. This table retains its original French patina and has minor distress and wear consistent with age.
