A beautiful original colour lithograph by celebrated French artist André Brasilier (1929–2025), titled Courses à Longchamp (No. 163), created in 1982.
This dynamic composition depicts racehorses in motion at the famous Longchamp racecourse in Paris, one of the artist's most iconic and sought-after subjects. Executed in Brasilier's unmistakable style, the work combines bold colour fields, fluid movement and a remarkable sense of harmony. The vivid green background contrasts beautifully with the elegant silhouettes of the horses and riders, creating a composition that is both energetic and poetic.
André Brasilier is internationally recognised for his lyrical depictions of horses, riders, landscapes and nature. His work is represented in important museum and private collections worldwide and remains highly sought after by collectors of post-war French art.
