This vintage mid century Scandinavian modern teak wood rolltop secretary desk cabinet by Egon Ostergaard was made in Sweden circa 1960. The classic Swedish modern design has clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves. The teak wood finish is a warm medium tone with beautiful natural grain. The upper rolltop opens on three small drawers and cubby compartments over a pull-out tabletop writing surface. There are three spacious lower drawers with sculpted inset wooden handles. Replacement skeleton key included. Numbered 80843 and marked with Made in Sweden label on underside.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. New replacement key included. Note the key turns in the rolltop lock, but does not catch in place to lock. Key is used to lift and lower rolltop.
