A splendid and rare tuscan-crafted coffee table, designed and crafted by the historic prato-based firm jr arredamenti d'arte (jorio roberto), which was active until about a decade ago and was renowned for exporting luxury furnishings to the us market. This coffee table perfectly embodies the italian art nouveau aesthetic, blending three noble materials into a harmonious design with a striking decorative impact. Frame: crafted entirely of hand-wrought iron, it features elegant sinuous lines, decorative scrolls, and a twisted upper perimeter. The finish features a fine antiqued gold leaf (or meccatura) plating, giving the metal a warm, luminous sheen.
central element: at the center of the structure is a large artistic ceramic basin/vase with geometric and colorful decorations in shades of burgundy and terracotta, reminiscent of the tuscan ceramic tradition.
top: rectangular sheet of solid tempered glass.
a unique piece of furniture, no longer in production, ideal for both classic and historic interiors and as a contrasting element in modern and designer settings.
