Teak sideboard with three hinged doors, three upper drawers, and a raised structure on linear legs. Scandinavian production from the 1950s and 1960s.
Scandinavian teak sideboard produced in the mid-20th century, featuring a rigorous construction and particularly elongated proportions, typical of Nordic production between the 1950s and 1960s. The structure features three hinged doors and three upper drawers integrated into the cabinet's profile, a solution that accentuates the horizontality of the design. The doors feature miter-framed panels, while the interior is divided by shelves of varying heights. The raised base with a central crosspiece visually lightens the volume and recalls the essential language of post-war Scandinavian modernism. The drawers feature interiors lined with green felt, a recurring detail in Nordic production of the period.
