Built from a collection of mismatched leftover pieces from previous HiLo projects, this one of a kind sectional was completely reimagined into a cohesive sculptural lounge piece. Constructed from approximately 90% salvaged wood, the piece combines vintage framing, reclaimed off cuts from past builds, and salvaged pine sourced from demolished New York City buildings.

Designed with ultimate laid back space age comfort in mind, the sofa features deep 25” seats, feather wrapped foam cushions, and oversized 12” back bolsters made for hours of lounging. The final result is a dramatic biomorphic silhouette balancing craftsmanship, sustainability, and pure comfort.

Redressed in Zimmer and Rohde Cedro, a playful marbled jacquard bouclé, the fabric amplifies the sofa’s psychedelic curves and vintage inspired shape while giving the piece a fresh modern edge.

What we did:
• Restructured and reshaped each individual piece to create a fully cohesive matching set
• Custom built an external curved corner section using salvaged wood
• Extended the seat depth to an ultra loungey 25”
• Softened and rounded the silhouette into a more biomorphic form• Rebuilt and reinforced the vintage frames using reclaimed materials
• Filled all cushions with lux 50/50 duck feather wrap over medium density foam
• Upholstered the entire piece in Zimmer + Rohde’s Cedro marbled jacquard bouclé
