Polished brass ceiling lamp with decorative perforations along the lower edge. Designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Sweden, 1950s.
Swedish pendant lamp designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1950s, featuring a teardrop-shaped silhouette in polished brass with soft, clean lines. The perforations along the lower edge create a soft light diffusion, a recurring detail in the work of the designer, known for his research into the atmospheric quality of domestic lighting. The compact proportions and reflective surface recall the language of postwar Scandinavian Modern, poised between organic minimalism and decorative sensibility. Good condition.
