Rare oversized “Diplomat” sofa designed by John Home for Howard Keith Furniture, United Kingdom, 1970s. Retaining what is believed to be its original black and ivory “Sereno” striped upholstery with exceptional pattern matching throughout. The low-slung architectural form rests on cylindrical brushed chrome legs, characteristic of the iconic Diplomat series. Deep, generous seating paired with dramatic optical striping gives the piece a bold postmodern presence while remaining unmistakably British modernist in character.
