The set includes a strawberry, an apple, a pear, a lemon (or yellow bell pepper), and an eggplant. Each object boasts exceptional color depth in vibrant reds, yellows, and greens, achieved through the use of high-quality metal oxides in the glass melt.

Craftsmanship Details & Quality

These pieces are distinguished by their particularly heavy, solid construction. Unlike simple hollowware, these objects were free-formed, giving them an impressive tactile quality and a sense of value.

A special quality feature is the expertly crafted punctuated edge (puntello): This was skillfully placed on the top and permanently concealed by individually applied green leaves and stems while the glass was still hot. The undersides are therefore perfectly smooth and gentle on your furniture surfaces. The delicate ribbed texture of the leaves testifies to masterful craftsmanship, characteristic of renowned Murano-style workshops (e.g., V. Nason & C.).
