Beautiful and highly refined Mid-Century Modern table lamp, made in Germany during the 1950s. This compact lamp features a rich teak rectangular base, a gracefully curved brass support, and a red/white enameled-metal rectangular shade that can be smoothly rotated to direct the light where needed.
Its exceptionally clean, minimalist composition highlights the period’s signature contrast of warm natural wood, polished brass, and dark metal. The shade is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, or significant damage, while the original E14 brass socket and wiring remain fully functional.
Its small scale and directional shade make it an ideal desk lamp, reading light, nightstand lamp, shelf accent, or focused task light for a home office or study.

CONDITION
Very good original vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. The black metal shade and brass frame are free of dents or bends; the brass shows light surface wear and age-appropriate patina. ELECTRICAL
Lamp has been reported in working order and suitable for both 110V and 220V. It retains a European plug, so buyers may need a plug adapter depending on location. As with all vintage lighting, professional inspection is recommended before regular use.
