Charming vintage Arnel’s ceramic cherub compote bowl made in Canby, Oregon during the 1960s. This sculptural piece features a graceful white cherub (putti) supporting a flower-shaped bowl with classical draped details and soft distressed accents. Crafted from glazed ceramic, it combines Mid-Century decorative arts with Romantic and Victorian Revival influences.
The bowl can be used as a centerpiece, candy dish, jewelry holder, potpourri bowl, or simply as an elegant display piece. The embossed Arnel’s maker’s mark is present on the underside. Approximately 60+ years old. Displays beautifully with age-appropriate vintage wear and patina consistent with use.
