A rare, beautifully crafted vintage Italian-made LaBarge wall mirror featuring an elegant Louis XVI-inspired carved pine frame with a richly detailed basket-of-flowers crest, and its original beveled mirror plate. Executed in solid pine with a warm pickled finish, the mirror showcases exceptional depth, texture, and craftsmanship throughout.
Handcrafted in Italy for LaBarge, this sophisticated design incorporates classic neoclassical elements including flowing acanthus foliage, Greek key corner details, and an abundant floral basket surmounting the frame. The softly weathered pickled finish highlights the natural grain of the pine while lending a relaxed European character that feels equally at home in traditional, French country, coastal, Palm Beach, and transitional interiors.
At an impressive 58 inches high, this mirror offers substantial architectural presence without overwhelming a space. Its graceful proportions and decorative carving make it an ideal statement piece above a console, chest, mantel, or vanity.
A distinctive and increasingly difficult-to-find Italian LaBarge mirror that combines timeless Louis XVI styling with the warmth and character of beautifully carved pickled pine.
