Published by the University of New Mexico Press as part of the New Mexico Artists Series No. 1, 1950.

"New Mexico Village Under Snow" is among the most atmospheric compositions in the portfolio—a bird's-eye view of an adobe village under a winter sky, figures and dog moving along a snow-covered road, bare trees casting shadows across the flat rooftops. The lithographic technique renders the gradations of snow and shadow with particular precision, creating a composition that reads as quietly monumental despite its modest scale.

Titled in pencil lower left. Pencil signed lower right "Kenneth M. Adams" with characteristic dash. Printed on heavy cream wove paper. Sheet measures approximately 16" x 12". Offered unframed, ready for custom framing to suit your interior.

Adams studied under Robert Henri and George Bellows before settling permanently in Taos in 1926. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and numerous other major institutions. He remains among the most recognized figures of the Taos Society and the broader tradition of American regionalist printmaking.
