This romantic map of Germany purposefully and effectively presents a very different image of a postwar Germany as it sought to build up a new tourism industry in a devastated country be warfare. The charming images captivate as it shows the locations of famous fairy tales, including Snow White, Rapunzel, and Little Red Riding Hood. This wonderful map was originally drawn by Leo Faller in 1930 but was reissued by the national German railway as the country sought to remind the world (and perhaps itself) that its culture and traditions predated the madness of the 1930s and 1940s. This charming vintage poster is printed on a light wood and remarkably sturdy. See less
