Up for sale is a nice pair of rare antique 18th century wrought iron and brass English fireplace tongs.
The arms are wrought by hand out of thick iron and have lovely spherical tips.
It has a mounted handle made of turned brass and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
It's in nice antique condition and measures 30 inches long.
There is a break to the end where it is peened as shown in last photo.
