Beautiful original painting by German artist Heinrich Windelschmidt, depicting a tender Madonna and Child scene rendered in a colorful modernist style.
The composition shows the Virgin Mary gently holding the child while a small bird rests on her hand, symbolizing peace and innocence. The work is executed with expressive lines and vibrant colors typical of early to mid-20th century European modernist religious art.
