Gaudez, depicting a troubadour musician and an elegant young woman holding a bouquet.

French work dating from the late 19th century / early 20th century, in the Belle Époque troubadour taste.

These sculptures display remarkable chiseling quality:
expressive faces, flowing drapery, richly detailed costumes, and finely executed decorative elements including the mandolin, chain, purse, headdress and engraved motifs.

Beautiful original silvered patina with natural wear and light oxidation consistent with age, giving the pair exceptional decorative presence.

Despite their historical inspiration, the sculptures retain a surprisingly contemporary visual impact and integrate beautifully into both classical and modern interiors, including Mediterranean, minimalist or high-end designer spaces.
