The chicken and a floral shaped medallions are embellished with red and blue enamel inserts adding a touch of color to the mix. The chicken also has a black and white enamel eye. Three ornamental drops are suspended from the chicken that have two articulated pieces on each drop. The chicken's wing is bowed out for a three dimensional effect and the top floral medallion has a whole for hanging. The piece could be displayed as either a wall hanging or mobile though the backside is flat and unadorned which leads me to believe it is intended to be a wall hanging.. No matter how it dances and sways this chicken puts her best beak forward. Though apparently unsigned, this appears to be the work of Chilean artist, Cesar Vasquez

Very good vintage condition.

The mobile measures 28” tall when fully extended (as shown in photographs) x 9.5” at the widest x approximately 3” deep. See less
