An exceptional Flemish Renaissance style credenza or buffet crafted from solid richly grained quarter- sawn oak. Most probably originating from Western Europe in the late 19th century. This pieces has master level hand carvings and architectural motifs popularized in historic Flanders.
Note the hand-carved cherub head capitals, doors with raised panel work, drawer moldings alongside ebonized accents. This buffet is equipped with two wide upper drawers and spacious lower cabinet with working locks and key.
