19th Century Qing Dynasty Elmwood Side Cabinet, circa 1880
A striking example of late Qing Dynasty craftsmanship, this elmwood Tanjing side cabinet originates from Shanxi Province, China, and dates to approximately 1880. The piece features five drawers across the upper register and four cabinet doors below, all fitted with original antique brass hardware — including the characteristic large circular moon-face latch at center. The warm, honey-toned elmwood displays the beautiful patina that only 140+ years of age can produce.

Comes with a Certificate of Antiquity from Art Treasures Gallery (October 2004) authenticating its Qing Dynasty origin (1644–1911).
