Description: This magnificient Double Ealge Queen Anne style mirror or looking glass is copied from an original George I period. The original mirror was in the Wetherburn's Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg. The entire frame is made of rich gilded gessor, and it is decorated with a carved shell and two eagle heads. Extremely High End mirror made by Friedman Brothers from New York maker of the finest mirrors in the United States. I believe this is the gold metal leaf version of this mirror.
Condition Report: Good Condition with some light hairlines, wear and scratches as expected with usage, Gilt loss at the top of the frame on middle leaf, Gilt loss on side of frame, displays beautifully
