Large sculptural green leaves wrap the sides, and the branch-form handle adds rustic charm. The interior is glazed in a soft mauve-pink, a hallmark of French faïence production of this period.
Attributed to French manufacture circa 1880–1910, consistent with regional producers such as Onnaing, Sarreguemines, or Choisy-le-Roi. The ruffled scalloped rim with pinched spout is a characteristic form of the era.
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate crazing throughout. Rim shows chipping and roughness, clearly visible in photographs and reflected in price. Glaze otherwise vibrant and intact. A lovely display piece with genuine character.
