A beautifully preserved pair of original mid‑19th‑century apple lithographs, featuring classic heirloom varieties including Hubbardston Nonesuch, Peck’s Pleasant, Mountain Greening, and Salisbury Pippin.
These are authentic antique lithographs, not modern reproductions, created by noted agricultural illustrators such as E. Emmons Jr., Z. Edwards Jr., and printed by historic lithography houses R.H. Pease (Albany) and G. & W. Endicott (New York).
Each plate includes its original plate number, artist attribution, and lithographer’s imprint, all hallmarks of genuine 1800s pomological prints. The paper shows the subtle texture and tone consistent with 19th‑century rag lithography.
The prints were professionally reframed in the mid‑20th century, using warm wood frames, cream matting, and kraft‑paper backs with wire hangers. The framing is classic, clean, and ready to hang. These pieces bring a refined botanical charm to kitchens, dining rooms, garden‑inspired spaces, and traditional interiors.
A rare opportunity to own true agricultural history with timeless decorative appeal.
Please note: The prints feature original lithographer credits and historical plate references visible within the artwork. They appear consistent with antique botanical apple lithographs that were professionally reframed at a later date. Exact publication dates have not been verified, and the artwork has not been removed from the frames for further examination.

Light age-related toning and scattered foxing are visible within the prints and contribute to their antique character. The paper backing on the reverse shows multiple small punctures, tears, and areas of wear from previous handling and hanging. Frames show light wear consistent with age.
