The border showcases a series of stylized relief birds and geometric patterns incised into the clay. This highly collectible piece offers an exceptional example of Scandinavian stoneware design from the Vintage Danish Mid-Century Modern 1960s.

Crafted from heavy stoneware, it features a textured beige and brown speckled glaze with dark slip accents highlighting the relief work. The underside displays the painted Royal Copenhagen wave stamp, model number 2/388, and the incised JM artist initials for Jørgen Mogensen.
