He obtained them from an ice cream parlor in Franklin Michigan. Likely prior to 1950 but I don’t know the year. They are copper with thick cardboard type seat that is painted. They weigh 11.5lbs each. 16.5 inches wide and 33 3/4 inches tall, ~17 inches deep. 1 chair has a damaged seat where she used the chair to stand in for some reason. Still very functional. One chair has writing on the bottom that says” this chair came from an ice cream parlor in Michigan”. See less
