The table is constructed … Read more A grand 20th century French Country Provincial style farmhouse dining table featuring a bleached oak finish. The table is constructed with a massive rectangular solid plank top measuring 8.5 feet long with softly eased corners raised over a shaped trestle base. The table is distinguished by its soft pale blond bleached oak surface and beautifully visible open grain patterns, with natural knots and tonal variation throughout. The base is composed of two shaped trestle supports with carved baluster-like legs ending with broad shoe feet. A long central stretcher connected the supports with an open mortise-and-tenon joinery. Crafted in a rustic country French Provincial farmhouse style, the table is well-suited for use as a dining table, work table, or library table. The table is heavy with solid joinery and construction. The table has a leg clearance of 26.75" with a space of 75" between the legs.
