Original oil painting on canvas signed H. Robinson lower left, a winter sunset landscape with a snow lined river, bare birch trees, and pockets of orange and gold autumn color glowing against a soft pink and yellow sky. Warm, atmospheric, and really nicely composed for its size.
The painting itself is clean and bright with no tears, flaking, or repairs. It sits in a gold gilt wood frame with a linen liner. The frame shows light rubbing and minor wear to the gilt along the corners and edges, consistent with age, and the canvas back has typical age toning. Wired and ready to hang.
Artwork measures 9 by 12 inches. Framed it measures 15 by 18 inches.
