Oil Painting by Baccie 24 X 28 "California School of Painters" Floral Still Life Scene.
This original oil painting comes from a well-known "California School" Oil Painter, Baccie, from the 1960's-1970's. The famous "California School of Painters" was an organization formed on the west coast in the 1960s and 1970s era and featured realistic paintings of scenery, mountain landscapes, landscapes and seascapes and still life paintings featuring flowers and fruits, found all over California. Gold frame is made from wood and gesso. Custom framed in the style of the era. The paintings from this collection by various painters who were part of the "California school" are highly prized and sought after today. Very rare in the marketplace as many have been snagged up by collectors. This painting comes from a family estate and was properly stored in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke free/pet free home.
The painting opening measures approx. 15-1/2" wide X 20" high; with frame included the painting measures 24" wide X 28" high X 2" deep.
