Teak highboard with tambour doors and adjustable internal shelves, Scandinavian production from the mid-20th century.
Scandinavian teak highboard with tambour doors from the 1960s. Characterized by its horizontal design and balanced proportions, it embodies the functional aesthetic of Scandinavian design of the period. The sliding doors with vertical slats disappear to the sides, revealing an interior organized with shelves and storage compartments. The raised structure on slender legs lightens the volume and recalls the Nordic modernist language, similar to the work of designers such as Børge Mogensen and Peter Hvidt. Good condition.
