Up for sale is a large original oil painting on canvas by listed maritime artist Hewett R. Jackson (1914–2007). This striking nautical scene depicts a majestic tall sailing ship breaking through deep blue waves, leaving a dramatic white wake behind. About the Artist:
Hewett R. Jackson was known for his historically accurate and finely detailed maritime paintings. His works are part of prestigious maritime collections, including the Oregon Historical Society, the Columbia River Maritime Museum (Astoria), and the Washington State Historical Society.
