the front is adorned with carved solid wood panels with scroll moldings and consoles characteristic of the louis xv style, embellished with turned ebonized wood spindles on the door jamb. The upper cornice is strongly projecting and molded, framed by a transom with a raised grid pattern painted in yellow. The interior of the door retains its carved panels in unpainted natural wood. The interior, in raw natural oak, is ready to be fitted out as desired: wardrobe or shelves. Brass fittings. The piece shows patinated wear with flaking and cracking indicative of several centuries of use (recent patina). Dimensions: h. 210 cm × w. 88 cm – weight: 80 kg. See less
