This stylish large Art Deco Anchor Hocking cobbler-style cocktail shaker is in the "Banded Rings" or "Rings" pattern. Featuring a clear glass body with alternating rings in orange and solver. The shaker features a tapered body with a large shoulder and a two-piece aluminum dome top with a built-in strainer and cap. The "Banded Rings" pattern was manufactured for a short period, from around 1927 to 1933.
"A cobbler-type cocktail shaker is defined as a classic, three-piece, self-contained shaking tool favored by home bartenders for its ease of use. It consists of a metal tin (base), a lid with a built-in strainer, and a cap that covers the strainer, preventing spills during shaking and eliminating the need for a separate strainer."
