Introduced in 1950 by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen, it reflects his signature vision of sculptural simplicity and refined modernism.

This specific set was made in the 1960s under license of Knoll by De Coene in Belgium, see label. Unfortunately only two of the four chairs have the metal label. The others seems to have been lost in time. This piece has an attribution mark,
