Executed in oil on panel, the composition demonstrates a confident reduction of detail while maintaining a strong sense of place. Muted greens, blues, ochres and mauves create a quiet atmospheric presence.

The painting appears to be signed "Jansson". Based on the subject matter, stylistic characteristics, and similarities to documented works, there are indications that it may be attributable to Swedish modernist painter Alvar Jansson (1922–1991), although this attribution has not been independently verified.
