The Globe-Wernicke Co Arts & Crafts Barrister Bookcase
Details: Antique Arts & Crafts solid Oak Barrister Bookcase featuring 3 shelf levels. With manufacturing sticker - made by The Globe-Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. Patented design. Dating from circa 1920, these bookcases, known for their modular design, were popular in the early 20th century for their practicality. Each section has a glass front that lifts and slides back, allowing for easy access to books while protecting them from dust.
Material: Wood and glass with brass details
Condition: Top Shelf has broken glass that needs to be repaired but otherwise it's in great shape. Wood patina is awesome. See photos.
