The tops are … Read more A pair of antique side tables made of fine exotic woods, dating from the early 20th century. The tops are oval in shape and feature scenes of daily life in the Chinese community at their center. The band beneath the top incorporates a drawer that can be pulled out using a gilded bronze handle. The four legs, which end in bronze feet, are connected to each other by a base featuring a floral and playing card inlay in the center. General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using traditional shellac and alcohol, applied by hand. Provenance: France, early 20th century. Dimensions: 53x42 H70cm.
