Large and unique sculpture made of solid oak, depicting 3 nude women with an organic background, vintage art object crafted by Edgard Fonteyne in the late 1990s, signed by the artist at the bottom.
Edgard Fonteyne (1930-2016) was a Belgian self-taught artist and sculptor born in Bruges and deceased in Oostduinkerke. His father, Norbert Edgard, inspired him to practice plastic art. Since 1972, Edgard was engaged in sculpting full-time; his classical, entirely handmade unique artworks, primarily depicting women and sacred figures, show the nudity and purity of man as he enters the earth.
This sculpture is in perfect vintage condition, showing signs of age and use appropriate for its age, no damage or missing parts; check the photos for more details!
