Likely a former wardrobe with a mirror, it has stood the test of time, retaining its carved details and slender silhouette. materials: natural oak (solid and veneer).

features: this art deco display cabinet, likely a former wardrobe with a mirror, opens with a central glass door and a drawer. The door, which locks, and the drawer each have a delicately carved metal handle with floral motifs. The cabinet's uprights and doors are also adorned with charming floral patterns typical of the 1930s and the art deco style. Inside, the cabinet is fitted with three natural wood shelves (fixed height).

restoration: the display cabinet was completely sanded on the exterior to remove the white paint and reveal its beautiful patinated oak. A pane of glass was installed in the center of the door, replacing the damaged wire mesh which had itself replaced a mirror. The handles were cleaned. Finally, a hole in the back and on the lower shelf was filled.
