Large Art Deco style statue, sculpture of a panther, made entirely of plaster, France, circa mid-20th century.
Beautiful statue of impressive size; the panther was once painted black. The original finish of the base was gold-colored; traces of the old finish can be found at the bottom edge.
This statue is inspired by sculptors such as Max Le Verrier and Salvatore Melani.
The object is in good vintage condition, with some minor signs of age and use consistent with its age, such as a small chip on one ear, and some superficial scratches and marks on the corners and edges. Check the photos for more details!
