Rudolf Schick
Painter and draftsman.
from 1858, he studied in the studio of Wilhelm Schirmer.
from the 1860s, he undertook numerous study trips to Bavaria, London, Paris, Tyrol, and Italy.
In Italy, he became closely acquainted with Arnold Böcklin.
Further travels followed, primarily to Italy.
